But that just doesn't happen to people like me does it .......

Hey that's ok because I have been a busy little beaver suffering sleepless nights with visions of Swarovski crystal dancing in my head....and other delicious precious delights!

I love creating my annual fall collections but my real love is one-of-a-kind.

I did mega gem and jewelry findings hunting over the holidays and boy did I get some awesome things!

I am also doing lots of new paintings for the summer studio too so I try to plan jewelry days and painting days but it sure is hard....... am thinking about painting when I am making jewelry and

So I have been the worst blogger ever!
Well not really , I did run the " Trinity anchor" Blog all summer at http://www.trinityanchor.com/ so I should not be too hard on myself should I? Well anyway now it's all about me and my studio blog. I had a great summer in Trinity in my new studio and then a fabulous holiday so now down to business.......

I am going to make a very conscious effort to blog here at least once a week and bring you only all great news. I will post brand new designs that can be found in the many stores across Canada as well as on my web site. It will be hot hot hot and you will be the first to know!

Well summer was supposed to be here yesterday....it missed us! lol But hey I am tucked away in the cozy studio getting lots of work done and new beautiful designs hanging on the no longer bare walls.. Its looking great!

Just completed my first 5 days officially with studio open in Trinity. Visitors are light but of those we had the comments were great and sales brisk! I think I need bigger signage as I am tucked away in the cove. The new Rising Tide program came out today and my 1/2 page full color ad will help on the inside cover! Hired a great apprentice who is working out very well and loves learning to make jewelry.

All is good so far.....here comes summer!!

Shutters on, signs up, flag flying, displays started, staff hired. ....hum whats left....?. Oh ya tell the tourists I.m here! Wednesday June 15 official opening day. Tomorrow will be busy with final touches. I am looking forward to a busy & creative summer !

Setting up the new studio today the wind was just howling outside but I am so happy I was toasty warm inside. The stage seems very sturdy and tight. You would not know it was windy except for looking out my windows and seeing the whitecaps on the harbour. Most of the art is hung and about to set up the jewelry displays. I can't wait to start creating in the space it seems so inspiring . I also can't wait to be able to open the windows and smell and hear the ocean.......(8c , drizzle and very windy from the NE.)
